Smiley

I wanted to welcome all the new members that have joined over the past 2 months. I get a fairly steady stream of e-mails prompting me that 'A new member has joined TIMGUL' and it's nice to see that people are still joining TIMGUL and using MTVMG software. We do also have a section for more/advanced professional software and welcome members to post songs created with these in that section as well. We've all been through a lot and it is great to see new music posted as well as the comments. For all new members please feel free to post any of your music as we welcome and encourage all artists no matter what type of sound you create.

Sincerely,

Admin Staff

I went on a youtube spam spree the last couple days contacting anyone I could find who's posted a video with mtmg music. I found a couple of really good artists still using it I hope they sign up.  Smiley

Well it appears that helped a lot, thanks. I think something like 25-30 new members joined over the past 3 months.

Hi,

I am happy to see there are still some new members joining here. I also noticed a bunch of new MTVMG users on Youtube and on my videos, people keep asking me what program did I use lately. Sadly I am very busy with both life and another site so I did not have much time to reply, though, but it would be nice if they joined TIMGUL.

On an unrelated note, the other night I re-updated the MODs installed on the site and added a new one. When you view the topic list, there should now be a small icon besides some topics. If you click it, it lists attachments included in a topic. For longer topics, it could be useful to find attachments easier if a topic got many of them, because they are all listed in one single spot, with links forwarding to the respective posts. Example: http://www.mtv-music-generator.com/index.php?action=topicattach;topic=1177 (The Vault-Collection of unfinished tunes/samples & mixes-mp3 downloads, by 147 Crew)

I also have been thinking about trying to figure out a way to add some sort of RSS feed on Omnimaga that notifies of the latest new songs posted on TIMGUL and have one on TIMGUL that notifies of new songs posted on Omnimaga, but I am not too sure how hard it would be. It may require cron jobs to be setup on the server, something that might be against the hosting rules.

That would be cool Omni.

Hey Mazon you can search ebay or Amazon.com sometimes. I'm looking for a backup copy myself. If you see any let me know.

Donnie, As you are creating your post Click the 'You Tube' button. Then Copy/Paste your link between the [You tube] brackets.

The video will be embedded as seen below here is one of my videos.
